Yes — the majority of our clients are located outside of Arkansas. We serve STR operators nationwide via secure video calls, our client portal, and email. Your geographic location does not affect the quality or scope of our services.
All packages are a starting point. After your free discovery call, we’ll customize the scope to match your property count, entity structure, and goals. You’ll receive a fixed-fee proposal before any work begins.
Qualification depends on your average guest stay length (typically 7 days or fewer), your level of material participation in the business, and your income level. We assess this during your initial strategy session and document everything properly to support your position with the IRS.
A cost segregation study is an engineering-based analysis that reclassifies components of your property (flooring, fixtures, landscaping, certain equipment) into shorter depreciation schedules — typically 5, 7, or 15 years instead of 27.5 or 39. Combined with bonus depreciation, this can generate large paper losses in the year you purchase a property. It’s most valuable for properties purchased or improved for $300,000 or more.
Yes — bookkeeping is a core part of what we do. We manage your books monthly through QuickBooks Online, keeping your accounts reconciled and your financials accurate year-round. Bookkeeping is included in our Summit and Expedition tiers and available as an add-on for Basecamp clients.
